UNIFICATION OF FARM WORKER ORGANIZATIONS
WHEREAS, agriculture companies operate globally; and
WHEREAS, farm workers have the same necessities worldwide; and
WHEREAS, wages for farm workers are extremely low globally; and
WHEREAS, medical coverage for families is essential worldwide; and
WHEREAS, the working conditions for farm workers are harsh globally; and
WHEREAS, the rights, respect, and dignity of farm workers are trampled by thoughtless employers; and
WHEREAS, there are organizations that defend farm workers worldwide.
THEREFORE, the UFW will take leadership in unifying all farm worker organizations worldwide to defend the rights and interests of farm workers and develop strong global network farm worker organizations
