Kerry Kennedy, RFK’s daughter, to visit Keene, pay respects at Cesar Chavez’s gravesite
Keene, Calif.—Kerry Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy’s daughter, will visit the National Chavez Center/Cesar Chavez National Monument at La Paz in Keene and pay respects at Chavez’s gravesite at 3 p.m. Thursday before speaking that night at a dinner with 500 people kicking off the three-day United Farm Workers’ 20th Constitutional Convention in Bakersfield.
Kennedy, president of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, the international human rights organization based in New York and Washington, D.C., keynotes the pre-convention dinner at 7 p.m. at Rabobank Convention Center, 1001 Truxtun Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93301.
