FIRST IN PLAYBOOK — UFW BACKS BIDEN: The United Farm Workers union is officially endorsing Joe Biden for president, with UFW President Teresa Romero saying in a statement that a Biden administration could tackle priority issues like a pathway to legal status for farmworkers, farmworker overtime pay and rules to protect the health of laborers (like California has enacted). The Biden campaign had already drawn the support of UFW co-founder and labor legend Dolores Huerta.
