Vaccination clinics in Soledad and Greenfield from 10-7 p.m.

Some 3,000 Monterey County farm workers will get first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at two twin vaccination events by partnership between the UFW Foundation, United Farm Workers, Lideres Campesinas and the State of California and Monterey County. The clinics will take place in Soledad from April 9 – April 12 and in Greenfield from April 10 – April 11.

Vaccinations are open to all farm workers at no charge. No health insurance is required. No doctor’s note or order is needed. Farm workers are being asked to call the bilingual toll free call centers of UFW Foundation (877-881-8281) for appointments to get their COVID-19 vaccine.

Media will have the opportunity to observe and shoot vaccinations and interview workers with patients’ consent.
